GET A PROPER SYSTEM TO ORGANIZE YOUR APPLICATIONS!

The job search is hard, and it takes excellent organization to keep track of all your applications – but you’re busy with coursework, exams, part-time jobs, and you might even have a social life! What you need is a proper system to organize your job search.

This article contains advice for the not-so-organized candidate who understands the need to conduct their job search in an organized, effective manner.

 

We have been helping clients to do this for >20 years, and our proven system is based on a Google sheet, which contains different tabs:

      • Applications tab – a sheet listing the companies you are targeting and the applications you have made, with 15 fields to capture all the relevant data you need

      • Your Network tab – a sheet listing the individuals you plan to or have networked with, with 16 fields to capture all the relevant data you need

      • External Agents tab – a sheet to manage your interactions with external recruitment agents

      • Internal Recruiter tab – a sheet to manage your interactions with internal company recruiters

Rather than trying to teach you how to build your own system, it’s probably easier just to give you access to our system.
